TS-80 Tamiya Lacquer Flat Clear 100ml Spray Can

This 100 mL Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear is a synthetic lacquer spray for modelers who want to reduce a glossy finish to a flat appearance. It is suited to large model surfaces, including 1/24 scale car model bodies.

Application notes

• Apply TS-80 over a fully cured glossy paint finish to create a flat final look.
• Allow the underlying paint to cure completely before clear coating. For best results, allow up to one week.
• Test the clear coat over decals before applying it to a finished project. Do not spray over stickers or decals without testing first.
• After the assembly is painted, details can be added with acrylic or enamel paints. Do not apply a lacquer top coat over acrylic or enamel base coats, which are not compatible.
• Do not use Tamiya TS paint on clear polycarbonate or Lexan R/C body shells. Use Tamiya PS spray paint for those applications.
• Apply light coats and allow each coat to dry and cure for 24 hours before adding further coats.
